Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to Dr. Robert B. Ingram Elementary School. Whether you are brand new to our school or a familiar face, I am pleased to be travelling along with you on your elementary school journey. I am excited and looking forward to continuing meaningful partnerships with our families, staff and community so that our children will excel academically, emotionally and socially.

Dr. Robert B. Ingram Elementary School has high expectations for all students in academics and behavior. I feel extremely fortunate to belong to a school culture focused on student achievement, a commitment to high expectations, collaboration, and teamwork. It is my utmost intention to carry on these important traditions and practices, while helping to create a warm, caring, and safe environment where children are offered the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Dr. Robert B. Ingram Elementary School will strive to provide instructional programs that motivate our students to become life-long learners and to improve our students’ self-esteem and confidence to become ethical citizens and leaders. I believe our students should be enthusiastic and creative thinkers who can use available resources and technology to solve any problems, which they may encounter now or in the future.

As principal of Dr. Robert B. Ingram Elementary School, I believe success in school requires thoughtful organization and commitment from all stakeholders. Careful planning and good relationships between home and school can make your child’s experience in school an enjoyable one for all.

Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child’s educational journey by participating in school events and activities. I look forward to working with parents throughout this school year. I encourage you to see yourselves as active partners in our learning community. Therefore, I ask that you stay informed of school events throughout the year and embrace volunteer opportunities.

There is no doubt that when home and school work together, we can make a difference in our children’s education, and ultimately their lives. Let’s all make a commitment to give our children our very best. Feel free to contact me any time with your comments, suggestions or concerns. Please know that I am honored to serve you and your children and look forward to working closely with parents and students to create a positive learning environment at Dr. Robert B. Ingram Elementary School.
